Well Cellooo.

If this isn't motivation to pick up a cello again, I don't know what is. The cello is the most beautiful instrument, hands down. It's like it speaks to my soul. We have a connection.

Christmas list item for suresies.

come for me / charlie hall

Jesus come take me away, I long to see Your face
This world is broken yet beautifully made,
Jesus come take me away
Jesus I’ll patiently wait, till like a vapor I’ll fade
Help me fulfill all your dreams for these days,
Jesus I’ll patiently wait

You’ll come again with a shout,
like a thief in the night you’ll come riding on clouds
Finally the voice I have followed for life
has a glorious face that is lit up with light
And you’ll come for me, no more pain, peace,
No more fear, release
just lost and consumed with my glorious King,

And you’ll come for me

Jesus today I am tired, I need your music to come and inspire
I give myself to be refined in this fire,
but Jesus today I’m so tired

Come for me

[End]

Ketchup or catch up, whatevs.

Welp, it's been quite sometime. I'm incredible busy with school. 18 units, being an RA and life on top of all that.

Life's good, though.

October recap:
Yankees win the ALCS
Midterms (shoot me)
Chris & Es leave :(
Kaitlin's wedding
Big sis Manda visits!
The Fantastiks
Strega Nona
Midnight Madness
Halloween Parties

November just started, but so far:
Yankees = World Series CHAMPS
World of Hurt

My grades are pretty rockin' right about now. Don't ask me how I'm doin' it, I just am. Late nights, lots of coffee runs w/the roomies and wonderful boyfriends named Ryan who give incredible encouragement and support. Speaking of which, our 2 year anniversary is Dec. 1st. I know, time flies!!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner. It's one of my favorites. I'm jealous because my sister Manda is going to be with her hubby's family. But whatevs, she would be having more fun with us. My dad blew the surprise about my other big sis, Tina who's coming for Thanksgiving. She makes the best yams and marsh mellows dish, ever. Seriously.

In other holiday news, I will not watch/listen to Christmas movies/music until AFTER Thanksgiving. It's a rule that everyone should abide by.

I'll leave you with this, you can't trust the SYSTEM, maaaaaaan.

vma madness.

Haven't blogged in awhile. But this, my friends, is blogworthy. (Sorry for the poor video quality).

Pretty sure I cried at 3:42 and especially 5:11. I <3 you MJ.

In other VMA news:

Kanye acted a fool. (Congrats Taylor, you're the 1st and only country music artist who's CD I proudly own)

Lady Gaga officially scares the crap out of me.

Catch you on the flipside.

Le Grove.

Last Wednesday Ryan and I went to see Taking Back Sunday, Anberlin & Envy on the Coast @ the grove in Anaheim. We like to stand pretty up close to the stage. SO much body heat/sweat/rockin' and I looked quite unfortunate post-show, but it was AWESOME.

I snagged Ryan - vocals/guitar from Envy on the Coast - for a quick picture. We're both from Long Island, so we had a bonding moment.

PS: If you don't have TBS' new album New Again - make it happen. Like, now.

Crowntown

All of my shows have had their season finales already. So, I've been looking for some other show I can get free episodes from online. I admit that I've really been getting into The OC.

FIRST of all, don't hate.

SECONDLY, they mentioned Corona. It was hilarious. If I recall correctly, the line was "Man, that kid wouldn't last 2 seconds in Corona". HAH!

When I entered Corona, CA in Google images, here's what came up first:

Seriously?

I will continue to watch, but if one more reference is made as to Corona being some type of ghetto, I will write to the creators in hopes they will double check their geography.

I'm Sorry.

At the 19th second, you'll realize why this video is indeed, worthwhile. I especially love how the keyboard player tries to cover it up by coincidentally taking over the lead vocals. Enjoy.

Facebook's "The Office" Quiz.

Your Result: Kelly Kapoor

You are a nice person at heart but you can get really annoying. Did i mention that your annoying? You really are a nice person though if your friends can just get past your quirks, like talking to much.

Frick.

Memorial Day.

Ryan's church teams up with the community and Veterans of Lake Elsinore to put on one heck of a Memorial Day service. THANKS to those brave men and women who gave their lives to serve our country.

Patriotism.

My sweet directing the choir and such.

Fly over (Missing Man Formation)

THEN I went to a kick ace bbq/pool party at the she-shack. We played a game called Things. A night full of laughter and fun, but no pictures. Boo.

Good day.

I Said Maybe.

Everybody loves Wonderwall by Oasis.

This cover song makes my hairs stand. Take a listen.

Maybe It's the Stache.

Went to go see Dance Flick last night- that movie was a bust (shocker).

However, to promote the new Jack Black film Year One, there was this picture. And I couldn't resist...

One of the guys at the snack counter yelled "Oh my god, it's Jack Black!!"

Please note: (silly faces aside) my man is sexier in real life, no offense, Jack.

Heads Up.

I call dibs on Storm from X-men for Halloween.

A couple of us have already started to form the group. I believe Wolverine and Rogue are already taken.

If you want in, you better make it legit.

Costumes are a serious commitment when rolling with a posse of elite status such as the X-men.

Too early to speak of Halloween? I think not.

July 13th

Incubus @ the Hollywood Bowl.

A rush of excitement is pumping through my veins.

I've been a fan since Drive- but I love everything that came before it just as much as the albums after.

This will be my very first Incubus concert - so, you understand.

Those of you in So Cal or the die-hards that are coming from the boondocks of who know's where...

See you there.

I don't matter anymore...

I've got a bad habit of starting blogs and never posting them. Here's one from this past summer. I think it's pretty significant to life. Enjoy...

Me. My needs. My wants. My opinions. My whatevers. None of it matters.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Even though it's a only a few verses in the Bible that most people would read right over- the prayer of Jabez is my favorite.

[ Read 1 Corinthians 4:9-10] It's only 2 verses and I hyperlinked it for you - so read it.

This guy, Jabez (who's name literally means pain - #1 mom, I know) prayed to God and asked Him to expand his territory. <--- That's serious business right there. I went for a run around my neighborhood (without my ipod) and in that silence I spoke with God and He spoke back and reminded me that it's not about me.

Last summer, right before I left for school, I asked God to do that same thing in my life. [Frick] That's the kind of prayer that you don't mess around with because God did JUST THAT.

This past year has been a stretching/pulling/expanding time for me. Things that have always been constant in my life have been shaken and stirred into a whole different ball game.

Then, just when I had forgotten, God reminded me that all of this had NOTHING to do with what I was comfortable with//needed///wanted. It had EVERYTHING to do with expanding my territory, for His glory and honor.

So here I am, stretched/pulled/expanded & ready for this new territory God has given me.

Holla Back Now.

Guess you can say I took a bit of a hiadus for a couple of months. I blogged for my university this past semester. That was cool. This school year just flew by it seems. 3 semesters is all I have until I can grab a BA in liberal studies and embark on my career.

One final left on Monday, then packing my bags and checking out of campus life for the summer. I can actually start my own blog again, long story. Expect updates with pictures when I can find my friggin camera charger.

I'm definitely looking forward to this summer: being home with the fam, hanging out with my friends, New York, playing as much RB2 as I please, Incubus in July, the beach, the pool, Disneyland, having access to a car, and being only 2 exits away from Ryan.

It's gonna be sweet.

Stay classy.
